The believers spirit is now alive to God but the body is not affected by the new birth.

Romans 8:10-11 - Tells us that when a person excepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior their human spirit is made alive to God though Jesus Christ, But that persons body is still dead and void of the knowledge of the new birth so it needs to be updated to the new life and relationship that they have obtained though excepting Jesus Christ as their Lord . But this is why Romans 12:2 - Says be transformed by the renewing of your mind . because your mind stands between your born again human spirit and your body which was not affected by the new birth which took place when you made Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior . If you have noticed your inner self wants to serve the Lord and do what God's word says, but on the other hand your body still wants to disobey and do its own thing independent of what your born again self wants to do. In this message i show and teach from God's word how Jesus resurrection gives you the knowledge and power to dominate that lower self and bring it in line with that born again part of you that was changed to be victorious in life just like your Lord and Savior .
