In Matthew 5:17 Jesus said he did not come to destroy but to fulfill the Law and the Prophets . 1 Corinthians 15:45-49 Paul calls Jesus the second Adam , and he explains what that means and how it happened . In Hebrews 10;2 it speaks of how impossible it was was the blood of bulls and goats to take away the imperfections that those worshipers felt in their hearts when it came to them approaching God . Let me give you an example of some of the differences between giving an offering for a sin you did under the application of offerings under Moses and the Law , in contrast to Jesus Christ and grace . Let's say you just went those many miles up to the temple to make your offering, but after giving your offering at that time under the Law of Moses and that of bulls and goats . you got in a bad argument with your spouse and now you got to wait a whole year before going back up to the temple to offer your sacrifice for it, and your conscience is beating you with all kinds of condemnation . well that's just a small example of how bulls and goats under the ten commandments was so worthless to give you a clear conscience . because under Jesus Christ and under the grace that his blood provides , he has already lived the life that you could not live , that's the meaning of he died for your and my sins . under grace you just say Father i was wrong and i am sorry for it, thank you Jesus died for this to and i thank you for my forgiveness and your done , now flow God's word and grow in the knowledge of Christ in that area of your walk with the Lord. That's called renewing your mind according to Romans 12: 1 - 2 .
