Working Against Your Spirit

Our peace comes from trusting the Lord. Do not let your soul work against your spirit. Earthly thoughts, those old emotions, and the hardness of our will not work with the Holy Spirit. We need to be renewed in knowing our Father. When we live our lives listening to the Holy Spirit we have life (true life) and peace. Let us learn how to rest in our salvation. Soulish work will make you weary, but if you work out of love, you will feel refreshed.
