The Lord Is Our Life

Many times, we believe we can fix things with people that only God can fix. The Lord sees the heart we see the emotions. We want to be a part of their lives, but we can't be a part of their sin. Believe me, I've tried to please people. To be a part of their lives means being a part of their flesh. Compromise with no one we owe no one anything but to love them the same way that Christ loves us. Jesus didn't come to give everybody everything that they ever wanted, he did not come to pity pat all their feelings. Jesus came to make the world right with God and He succeeded, John 3:15-17. People are transformed by God's love and that love is in you to live and love as He does. After all the love of God is being poured into your heart by the Holy Spirit who was in you teaching you all things. Do not fear family, or friends, do not fear for your life but trust God to perfect what concerns you. Romans 12: 2 do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed 5 the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is his good pleasing. Luke 18:28-30 Look,” said Peter, “we have left all we had to follow You.” “Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God will fail to receive many times more in this age—and in the age to come, eternal life.”… Hebrews 4:14-16 since we have a great high priest, Jesus the son of God, who has gone into the heaven, let us hold on to the faith we have. For our high priest is able to understand our weaknesses. When he lived on earth he was tempted in every way that we are, but he did not sin. Let us, then, feel very sure that we can come before God's throne where there is grace. There we can receive mercy and grace to help us when we need it. Romans 13:8 Owe no one anything but to love them... New Living Translation Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law. Jesus reconciling the world 2 Corinthians 5:14-21 The love of Christ controls us because we know that One died for all, so all have died. Christ died for all so that those who live would not continue to live for themselves. He died for them and was raised from the dead so that they would live for him. From this time on we do not think of anyone as the world does. In the past we thought of Christ as the world thinks, but we no longer think of him in that way. If anyone belongs to Christ, there is a new creation. The old things have gone; everything is made new! All this is from God. Through Christ, God made peace between us and himself, and God gave us the work of telling everyone about the peace we can have with him. God was in Christ, making peace between the world and himself. In Christ, God did not hold the world guilty of its sins. And he gave us this message of peace. So, we have been sent to speak for Christ. It is as if God is calling to you through us. We speak for Christ when we beg you to be at peace with God. Christ had no sin, but God made him become sin so that in Christ we could become right with God. This issue of life and death needs to be settled in our hearts. John 11:25 (New Century Version) Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me will have life even if they die. I want to be a part of their lives, but I can't be a part of their sin, I've tried it and became defiled, confused, and displaced. Remember bad company no matter who that company is corrupts good morals. 1 Corinthians 15:33
