The LORD Is Our Anchor

The LORD Is Our Anchor Hebrews 6:18-20 So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. Jesus has already gone in there for us. He has become our eternal High Priest in the order of Melchizedek. Psalm 27:1-14 (4-6) One thing I have desired of the LORD, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble, He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle, He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore, I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD. Let’s speak God's will into our lives: I am anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving I let my request be made known to God. And the peace of God surpasses all comprehension, will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). I choose to meditate on anything that has virtue or is praiseworthy. I think about things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Philippians 4:8).
