As children of God, we have the power to overcome the warfare in our minds through spiritual weapons. If you're currently struggling mentally, know that the attack is real. Our enemy is a powerful spirit, who prowls around seeking to destroy us. However, we can't combat this spirit using physical weapons, as our souls aren't equipped to handle this battle. Instead, our weapons are spiritual and mighty through God, allowing us to tear down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). I'm so grateful that the Lord has planted His word deep within my heart. To me, it's unfathomable how anyone could live without it. God's word is what sanctifies us, as John 17:17 says, "Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth." It's the Lord who instills His word within us, writing it on our minds and hearts. The more we rely on Jehovah's wisdom, the greater our understanding will be in all matters. We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works. Part of our good work is to demolish strongholds through God's power and the authority of Christ. With Him on our side, we can confidently face any spiritual battle that comes our way. Scripture for thought: Colossians 1:7-22 Thanksgiving: Thank you, Lord, for giving us your way of thinking.
