We want to see how the situation is going to work out, and the longer we wait the more anxious we get. These people in John 6 were looking for Jesus because he fed them. They marveled over signs but had no interest in the life Jesus offered them A HARD TRUTH John 6:25-69 25-27 Jesus the Bread of Life When they found Him on the other side of the sea, they asked Him, “Rabbi, when did You get here?” Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, it is not because you saw these signs that you are looking for Me, but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. Do not work for food that perishes, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on Him, God the Father has placed His seal of approval.” John 6:57 Just as the living Father sent Me and I live because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on Me will live because of Me. John 6:63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. 64 However, there are some of you who do not believe.” John 6: 67-69 So Jesus asked the Twelve, “Do you want to leave too?” Simon Peter replied, “Lord, to whom would we go?
