I know some things I am saying are hard but read the scripture yourself. A Call to Holiness, Hebrews 12:13-14 Make straight paths for your feet, so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed. Pursue peace with everyone, as well as holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God, and that no root of bitterness springs up to cause trouble and defile many. The salvation that God has given us is personal first. We cannot “go tell it to the mountain” (a famous song), until we ‘first’ perceive it ourselves. We have personal fellowship with God, which we maintain through trust; trust in what God has said and what he’s done. This is a lifelong relationship that we have received through Jesus Christ God's Son, and he has brought us into spiritual living, now we have fellowship with God by His Spirit. Our flesh is filthy and cannot honor the Holy God But by help from the Holy Spirit, we can put to death the works of the flesh.
