The Rich Young Man Mark 10:17–31; Luke 18:18–30; Matthew 19:16-28 Believing what God said will cost you. Family, people you know, strangers, and some church folk will laugh at you, leave you, and call you a fool. But remain in faith in God. Remember what Jesus said to Jairus, Luke 8:50 ONLY BELIEVE!… Persecution is more than physical beatings and death, it's also being talked about, lied on, stolen from, harassed, and discriminated against. But I say this endure like a good soldier always abounding in the truth. Psalm 27:1-2 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Proverbs 4:7-8 Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. Exalt her, and she will promote you; She will bring you honor, when you embrace her. Matthew 5:3 God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. Ephesians 3:16-17 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. Faith toward God is not faith in your ability but in God's ability. Remember what Jesus said, “You of little faith.” It was never about faith in us it’s always been in what God said. Now what did God say to you?
