Hebrews 6:20 - Jesus is a priest after the order of Mechizedek: Who is Melchizedek? King of Salem, priest of God Most High (see Genesis 14). Abraham gave Melchizedek a tenth of the plunder after his battle with the kings. Abraham thereby acknowledged that Melchizedek was his superior. Since Melchizedek is a type of Christ (not the other way around), Jesus is better than Abraham and Abraham's descendant .Levi, ancestor of the Levitical priests.
