Second in the series, “What’s Wrong With Us?” How is it that we keep telling ourselves that we’re better than we are, while, while looking down on others? The series explores the concept of sin based on four Old Testament stories. The lesson this week is the story of the disobedience of Saul, the first king of ancient Israel. Saul had been anointed by God to be king, and yet he trusted in his own judgment instead of God. Why do we believe ourselves instead of believing God?
