In this Pentecost sermon, Dr. Jim Keck will use John 14 to show that the Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth and that religion is, in some basic way, about dispelling the illusions in which we are trapped. Although Pentecost is thought of as the beginning of the Christian church in history, it is essential that we have a new pentecost today so that the spirit of truth can release us from the illusions that hinder us.
