In management theory, the Peter Principle refers to the tendency of an organization to promote a person to the "level of their incompetence." Although that idea is not actually named after Peter the Apostle, it appears that he was the first historical example of it when he was taken up the mountain of Transfiguration with Jesus and makes a few "mistakes." But Peter's mistakes are at least interesting ones and we can learn from them.
