After the joyfully stout declarations of faith on Easter Sunday, the church always turns to the Doubting Thomas passage in the Bible the very next week. This is psychologically astute because faith, by its very nature, must include doubts. Every presupposition of faith is able to be doubted, that is why we call it FAITH not CERTAINTY. And so we remind ourselves that faith is actually made more authentic by acknowledging the role of doubt in our lives. Join us this weekend for a dose for joyful faith and authentic doubt.
