Advent is the four weeks of preparation in the church to ready our hearts for the miracle of the incarnation. The sun sets so quickly in winter and the darkness increases, but a new light bursts forth upon our world when the beautiful Christ child is born. This Advent our theme at First-Plymouth is Guide us to Thy Perfect Light . Like the three wise men, we are on a journey together as a church to see the Christ child. This week Dr. Keck continues his advent sermon series that will help prepare us for the great miracle God will do in Christ. As the church lights each candle of the advent wreath, the sermon will explore Hope, Peace, Love and Joy. This week is the light of Love. Join us these four weeks for the journey to Bethlehem to see the Christ child.
