A revival breaks out in the wilderness as John declares that someone filled with heaven's power is coming. All of the sudden, that someone shows up: Jesus of Nazareth. As he wades out to John in the Jordan River, Jesus says to him, "I need you to baptize me." John is shocked. It seems God has a habit of showing up in our midst and saying to us, "I need your help." This Sunday, let's consider just how God might be calling us to baptize Jesus and his mission in our own region.
