How God Speaks to Us                                                                 Hebrews 1:1-2                                                         

God does speak—now one way, now another— though man may not perceive it.”  Job 33:14

HOW DOES GOD TALK TO US?

God speaks by the Holy Spirit through the Bible, Prayer, Circumstance, and the church to reveal Himself, His purposes and His ways.                                                         

1.  GOD SPEAKS THROUGH THE _____________.                        “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;” 2 Timothy 3:16       

How do I get started in this book? 

2. God Speaks through ____________: Impressions                                                    "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” John 14:26.                                                         

There are two extremes you need avoid:

4. “This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.”    1 Cor 2:13

Why is it so important to really hear God speak?
