Episode 28 - "The Living Word: Bridging the Gap"
Series: "The Living Word"
November 01, 2024
Jason Broadus
Continuing in the ongoing series, “The Living Word,” in this episode, we explore the 400 years between the Old and New Testaments—also called the Intertestamental Period. Though no new scriptures were written and there was no progressive revelation, the era was anything but silent. We will explore four critical periods—The Persian, Hellenistic, Hasmonean, and Roman periods—shedding light on how these historical shifts shaped Jewish life and set the stage for the Messiah’s arrival. We will also explore the rise of influential groups like the Pharisees, Sadducees, and the Scribes. Tune in to be inspired and equipped by God’s truth!
