Roughly speaking, only about one third of Americans want either President Joe Biden, or former president Donald Trump to run for office again, let alone to have them run against each other one more time. Yet here we are, facing what looks to be a blossoming rematch between the two men. If we are going to make the second verse the same as the first, what should our presidential hopefuls be focusing on? And for that matter, what are they focusing on right now in the early days of the 2024 campaign? The right things? Or stupid things?
