3. An authentic Christian puts no confidence in the flesh - v. 3d
Summary statement:
An authentic Christian is a person who puts
Christ at the center of all of life, elevating Him above all else.
What is “the flesh?”
Eph. 2:1-3 - “You were dead...”
Three enemies of the saint: The world, the flesh & the devil

Killing the flesh starts with dealing a death blow to pride
