Series: Acts Sermon Series

Title: Paralyzed and Dead Text: Acts 9:32-43 FCF: We often struggle admitting how spiritually helpless we truly are. Prop: Because Jesus died for sinners, we must turn from our sins and obey in belief. Scripture Intro: [Slide 1] Turn in your bible to Acts chapter 9. In a moment we’ll be reading starting in verse 32 from the Legacy Standard Bible. You can follow along in the pew bible starting on page 1241 or in whatever version you prefer. By verse count we will be about a third of the way through the book of Acts by the end of this sermon. I am actually quite surprised that we are moving as such a brisk pace. I think having the Wednesday night prayer group available to talk about some items in more detail has helped me stay focused. I know I can get through a bit more since we can cover some less relevant material on Wednesday. If you have ever thought, why didn’t he cover this detail in the sermon, perhaps you should join us on Wednesday nights
