The Gift of the Magi

There is a little known tradition at Claremont United Church of Christ that each year the baby who plays Jesus in the church pageant is given a solid gold coin. The coin was started by a Kurdish member of the congregation who is part of the Yaresan faith community that traces it's heritage back to the magi of Scripture. The Yaresans believe that all of humanity is united in a quest for truth. Join Pastor Jacob as he invites us to do away with our divisions and dogmatism and embrace the human journey for truth.
