The Sound of Silence
The poet Marie Howe says, "There’s a silence in the center of everything." Silence can be bright and loud. Silence can be dark and wide. Silence can be frightening or calming. It can make us uncomfortable or rejuvenate us. In our busy, technology-driven lives, we are often unfamiliar with silence and its many sounds. Join us this Lent as we explore profound moments of silence in Scripture and consider how silence might teach us new things about ourselves and our God.
