Featured Guest: Tekoa Pouerie

Tekoa Pouerie is an Implicit and Explicit Bias Subject Matter Expert, and, trainer for The National Criminal Justice Institute at Fox Valley.

For over a decade Tekoa has researched Disproportionate Minority Contact, and has been awarded multiple grants from the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice. She travels the country training Law enforcement, Judges, and, Youth Program Providers.

Tekoa was appointed by former Department of Juvenile Justice Secretary, Wansley Walters, to the Circuit 9 Advisory Board, where she currently serves as Chairwoman.

Additionally, Tekoa serves on the Mayor of Orlando Community Investment Panel. She has also received 2 Congressional Recognitions and a Sheriff citation medal.  

Tekoa and her husband Dio, are lead pastors at Acceleration Church in Orlando, which equips people for maximum output in their respective assignments and roles for the benefit of the expansion of the Kingdom of God.
