Why is there So Much Suffering in the World?

Psalm 73

1.  The Question of Suffering Challenges Our Faith.

Suffering will either lead us to speak evil of God or to praise God.

2.  The Question of Suffering Requires a Change in Perspective.

We will never find a satisfactory answer for suffering without eternity in view.

3.  The Question of Suffering is Satisfied by God’s Goodness.

The only satisfying solution to the question of suffering is found in the Christian worldview. 

• Are you suffering? Praise God in your pain. 
• Are those around you suffering? Bear their burdens with them.
  

Our theology of suffering must begin and end with the Gospel.
