Make Disciples: In the Name of the Son

Matthew 28:19 

“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’”

God’s Work in Salvation: God the Father is the master planner. God the Son accomplishes the master plan, and God the Spirit applies the master plan to those who believe.

Every blessing God has for us comes through our union with Jesus.  

When we accept this truth: 

1.  We give up everything to gain Jesus. 

2.  We can walk through anything because we have Jesus. 

3.  We are formed into the image of Jesus.

“I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ.” Philippians 3:8
