consider using a podcast hosting vendor like Art19 or CastPlus that offers 'dynamic insertion' of hosts reads for sponsors. Because the archives are constantly being listened to over time and could have sponsored reads that are no longer bringing in revenue because the campaign has expired, you want to be able to pull out those reads from older archives and replace them with new (paying) sponsors. These two podcast cos are doing just that and it could mean a substantial bit of revenue in the future. I have experience with both and happy to provide more insights.
