Galatians 4:1-7 - The Heart of God through Adoption

Series: Family Matters

Brent Southard

Central to the Gospel is God’s redemptive plan through the adoption of his people. With this theological truth comes the opportunity to respond to adoption with the adoptive love of others. What does it look like to adopt in the 21st century? What did it look like for God to execute his redemptive adoptive mission on earth? This sermon is the close to our sermon series on “Family Matters” and calls the church to be a “family of families” that shares God’s heart for adoption. By looking at the parallels and privileges of adoption through the lens of Galatians 4:1-7 we will catch God’s heart and the call to imitate God as adoptive children.
