Living in the World

When we were children, we were taught by our parents how to act; some gave good instruction so that we would behave well, and others gave bad instruction and we learned wrong things that we should not do. As Paul continues to speak to those who have believed the Gospel unto salvation, his desire is to instruct us in practical things for living in the world that does not embrace God or His word. He began, in chapter 12, with the admonition to live holy acceptable to God. He continues that in chapter 13. Especially as we venture out into the world around us!
