Is being lazy really that bad ? After all, isnt busy uptight people who cause all the wars ? Why would the ancient church consider Sloth a deadly sin? It turns out their understanding runs much deeper than ours and is brutally conviciting. On this Palm Sunday we turn to C.S. Lewis' Screwtape letters to get a perfect picture of the habit of sloth, and to Jesus in the gospel of John to see it's opposite: Diligent Love.
