Episode Notes

Introduction: Today I want to give you the whole shebang of the gospel of Jesus Christ in six words. If you master these six simple, one-syllable words, you have got the total package of the Christian faith. We are going to have a crash course on the gospel and do it all in six words, six one-syllable words!

1. Come Down. (Justification)
Luke 19:5 – When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, ‘Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.’

2. Come Out. (Sanctification)
John 11:43 – When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, ‘Lazarus, come out!’

3. Come Home. (Glorification)
Luke 15:20 – In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.’

Conclusion: The whole shebang of the Bible is found in one verse, John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
