A Matter of Life and Death

In our Gospel text for today, Luke 20:9-20, Jesus tells the Parable of the Wicked Tenants. We, the reader, are like a "fly on the wall" as we listen to Jesus address a specific group of people. But that doesn't mean God doesn't have something to say to us. He speaks to us directly from His Word to proclaim to us the absurd, crazy, bonkers Good News of the Gospel: You are loved and accepted because Jesus died and for you.
