Crying in the Wilderness

Sometimes in life we find ourselves in dry, barren places in our spiritual life. Times of frustration, heaviness, darkness, rejection, fear and loneliness fill our hearts. It seems as though we are in a spiritual Wilderness where God is nowhere to be found. John the Baptist fulfilled Isaiah's prophecy of one crying in the wilderness - prepare ye the way of the Lord. Two thousand years later while we are crying out in this spiritual wilderness, there is another voice that comes to us, crying in the wilderness - prepare ye the way of the Lord. The Lord has appointed this time for you in the wilderness to reveal His power to you.
