A Friendly Reminder

Don’t let your familiarity breed contempt & shut your eyes and ears.

Don’t be a snob: these people lived in an occult controlled city.

Don’t be an ostrich: stop hiding your head in the sand.

Don’t be smug: I got this figured out, takes practice to be skilled warrior

Take up the full armor of God

The greatest weapon is the life, death, resurrection of Jesus for us!

Gird your loins with the truth. John 8:32, 1 John 5:3

Put on the breastplate of righteousness. 2 Corinthians 5:21, Philippians 3:9, 1 John 3:3

Shod your feet in the Gospel of peace.

• How does my relationship to God effect my other relationships?
  
• What does it look like to live out the Gospel in my life?
  

Take up the shield of faith to extinguish fiery darts of Satan. Hebrews 11:6

Take the helmet of salvation. Hope of salvation 1 Thessalonians 5:8, Lamentations 3:21-23

• God’s love has been poured out in my heart. Rom 5:5
• God’s love is so great I will never be consumed.
• God’s compassion & mercy never fail when I need them.
  
• God’s grace gifts are new every morning. Hope for every day!
  

Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God
