In Part II of Week 8, God teases out the relationship between employers and employees and helps us to understand that whether we are a worker or a boss, we were not sent to be served, but to serve others for the glory of God.

Paul and Timothy have lain the foundation for the Colossians, helping them understand who Christ is. Now they explain why He must be the Way, the Truth, and the Life, dismantling anything in the created order who challenges His rightful place and showing us our innate need to worship something and why that something MUST be Him.

When Christ becomes our life, we enter the fray, engage in the battlefield, and endure the hardships necessary to bring the Gospel to at least ONE MORE PERSON. This week, God shares with us the posture He gives us to be willing to give someone else the Eternal Hope we all need, even if it costs us our lives.
