The cycle continues: The previous judge (Ehud) dies, Israel forgets the LORD, does evil and is handed over to an outside oppressor. After 20 years Israel cries out to God, who raises up Deborah (Judge) and Barak (General) liberate Israel from the oppressor Jabin (King of Canaan) and Sisera (General).
