Introduction

 

Genesis 1:27 (NIV)  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

 

The Image of God

 

  • Four Greek words for love:

 

a.      Phileo – _______________ love

1 John 4:7-8 (NIV)   Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Matthew 24:10-12 (NIV)   At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,
